LIGHTWEIGHT GRAND PRIX AMATURES PUT ON GOOD SHOW

Jocelin Veilleux (pronounced vay-yoo) #367 leads John Carson (823), Don Adley (303), Joseph Bicossi (365), Brooks MacQuarrie (330), John Lemark (238), Martin Howlett (580), Robert Arnold (251), and Charles Baldwin (346) into turn three on the first lap at NHIS on April 18.  The lady from Maine was riding her ex-Tim O'Connor TZ250 Yamaha at Loudon for the first time since making a big splash at Roebling Road in Savana just three weeks before, where she turned expert lap times and came within a wheel of winning the formula two race, all in only her second race weekend!  Jocelin struggled with incorrect gearing and poor handling to a fourth place behind winner John Carson (riding a spec class Aprillia RS250, who also won the Formula 40 race) and hard charger John Lemark (Honda RS125), while Don Adley Cruised to third on his FZR400.  It was later discovered that her steering head bearings were binding so badly, it took effort to move the clip-ons with the bike on a stand!  This little bundle of dynamite will be worth watching this season.
