THE CRASH!

James Bonner  and Jocelin (in black) shown in a crash at turn one Daytona.  Jocelin had a piston failure causing a motor seizure.  Immediately following, Jocelin was hit by Bonner (who fortunately made it out okay). These awesome photos are by corner worker Lisa Theobald, and are read from left to right.

OUCH!

THE RESCUE!

Jocelin's team (who could not attend Daytona) head out in BYRT to rescue Jocelin and bring her home.  Bill (L), Dale (R), and Mary (photo).

They strapped Jocelin in her very own ambulance.  "Ohh brother, I have seen enough of these this week", comments Jocelin on the ambulance.

THE RECOVERY!

Jocelin with her adopted "track Mom" at the hospital in Daytona.  (note the attempted smile)

Jocelin at Tri-Signs, Inc.  trying to work in her newly acquired and "much too slow" wheelchair.

Jocelin begins to get up and around with one crutch and one foot.

Here, with the assistance of some special friends and a customer...Jocelin letters a boat.

THE LATEST!

Jocelin is out of the wheelchair and all the braces.  Only a few days after the Neurologist told her she most likely will never move her left arm again; Jocelin is moving it well.  Three days after the Orthopedic surgeon said she will not be walking for 2-3 months; Jocelin is walking well.  Her positive thinking and supportive friends have helped her "miracle" recovery.  When asked if she will race again, Jocelin replied, " When, where, and how soon can we get the bike ready?!"

NEW NEWS:

Check this out!  You want to talk about awesome sponsors...here is a recent photo of the seat section from the bike, the same seat section shown destroyed above.  Concept Automotive got a hold of it and "poof" like magic, you can't even tell it had ever been in a crash.  GREAT JOB CONCEPT AUTOMOTIVE!
